Public Description:

The bill would authorize funds for joint federal, state, and local investigation and prosecution of gangs in the United States. [Note: The bill has few provisions that directly affect immigration, but since gangs are heavily comprised of aliens, especially illegal aliens, it would result in better enforcement and higher removal rates.]

To amend title 18, United States Code, to reduce violent gang crime and protect law-abiding citizens and communities from violent criminals, and for other purposes.
