Sen. Jeff Sessions says the Obama administration’s goal to resettle nearly 200,000 refugees in the U.S. over the next two years will have serious fiscal and national security consequences.
At a meeting in Berlin, Germany Secretary of State, John Kerry, said that the U.S. will not stop at the proposed additional 10,000 Syrians coming to the U.S. next year. He said the Obama administration plans on increasing the cap for worldwide refugees from 70,000 to 100,000 by 2017.

This would likely reduce the resettlement of refugees into the United States by requiring greater Congressional oversight.
