Maryland Seeking Bill to Tie Legal Status to Driver's Licenses
The Maryland General Assembly could approve a bill next month that reverses a long-standing policy allowing undocumented immigrants to obtain driver's licenses. Currently, Maryland is one of four states that allows undocumented immigrants to obtain a license. New Mexico, Hawaii and Washington are the others.
