SupportThis bill would clarify state and local law enforcement’s inherent authority to enforce Federal immigration laws; and would overturn a decades-old court injunction that impedes the Federal government’s ability to remove aliens from El Salvador on an expedited basis.
To affirm the inherent authority of State and local law enforcement to assist in the enforcement of immigration laws, to provide for effective prosecution of alien smugglers, and to reform immigration litigation procedures.
