Randolph-Macon University Professor Dave Brat has defeated House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in Virginia's 7th Congressional District GOP primary by a 12 point margin. Brat completed the NumbersUSA immigration-reduction survey and was rated as a True Reformer, whereas just yesterday, Cantor called on Pres. Obama to forge a deal on immigration that would include an amnesty for some illegal aliens.
Brat received 56% of vote and the race was called by the Associated Press just about an hour after polls closed.
