A poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports has found that the majority of voters support increased immigration enforcement, including additional fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border and deportation for criminal illegal aliens. According to the poll's findings, 51% of likely voters support more fencing along the border, while a whopping 80% support the deportation of criminal illegal aliens.
Rasmussen asked likely voters "Should the United States build a wall along the Mexican border to help stop illegal immigration?" 51% said yes, while only 37% said no. Among Republican likely voters, 70% said yes, and among political Moderates, a plurality of 48% said yes.
Rasmussen also asked likely voters "Should the United States deport all illegal immigrants who have been convicted of felonies in this country?" 80% of likely voters said yes, while only 11% said no. A majority of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents support deporting all criminal illegal aliens -- 92%, 69%, 82%, respectively.
