According to a recent press release from the Border Patrol, over the past two months, agents have arrested two Yemeni men who were on the FBI’s terrorist watch list in the United States - after the terrorist aliens illegally jumped the southern border as part of the migrant surge.
One man, a 26-year-old on both the FBI’s terrorism watch list and no-fly list, was arrested just last week near Calexico, California. The other terrorist, a 33-year-old also on both lists, was arrested in late January - just days after the inauguration.
While CBP, the Border Patrol’s parent organization, did not release the names of the terrorist aliens - when the press release was published, pictures of the terrorists were included.
During the various Congressional trips to the border throughout last month, Republicans caught heavy flack from Democrats, open-border advocacy groups, the media, and internet “fact-checkers” for reporting the obvious terrorist threat posed by the unchecked border surge.
“At the time, Business Insider called the claims ‘fear-mongering’ and questioned the validity of the watch list itself. CNN said that there was ‘no evidence of a sudden rush of individuals on the terror watch list,’” reports the Washington Times.
However, as of today, CBP has removed the press release announcing the arrests and confirming the threat the border poses to national security - the Washington Times reports that an archived version is still available at the Internet Archive.
