First Texas Bus Load of Illegal Aliens Lands Just Blocks from Capitol

The first busload of illegal aliens from Texas has disembarked in the Nation's capital yesterday morning following the announcement from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott that his state would begin to bus illegal aliens released in its border communities to Washington D.C.

The busing plan was announced by Gov. Abbott last week after news broke that the Biden Administration had decided to end the CDC's pandemic border order known as Title 42. As per the plan, the Texas Division of Emergency Management would pick up aliens released in Texas communities and deliver them to Washington DC and other localities outside Texas.

While many considered Abbott's warning as simple saber-rattling, including the White House, who dismissed the busing as a "publicity stunt," even other members of Abbott's party questioned whether the pan was genuine. Nevertheless, the first bus full of illegal aliens arrived just blocks away from the Capitol yesterday morning. This morning's busload came from the Del Rio Border Sector and comprised Colombian, Cuban, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan nationals.

Fox News adds that once the migrants arrived in D.C. and exited the bus, they had their Texas-issued wristbands removed and were told by present immigration authorities that they were free to go and disappear into the Nation's capital.

According to the Texas Division of Emergency Management, the division dispatched buses and officers to Texas border communities that requested assistance. They then worked with local officials to identify the illegal aliens and load them onto the vehicles. TDEM added that each bus was packed with enough seats and supplies to transport up to 40 aliens to Washington DC.

However, to the dismay of many, Abbott's plan to bus illegal aliens to Washington DC appears to be already achieving its desired results. As reported by Breitbart Texas, "The federal government stopped dropping migrants off in the West Texas town of Uvalde after Governor Greg Abbott announced plans to bus them to Washington, D.C., said Mayor Don McLaughlin. "I think busing the released migrants to D.C. is a great idea," the mayor added. "Let them see [D.C. officials] what we are seeing and dealing with in Uvalde."

Breitbart News concludes its report:

Mayor Laughlin said he received intelligence revealing that nearly 500,000 migrants are poised on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande from the Rio Grande Valley Sector to the Del Rio Sector. He said the migrants are just waiting for the Biden Administration's ending of the Title 42 coronavirus protection protocol in May.

"DHS is still releasing COVID-infected migrants into communities in the area," the mayor said. "In addition, we are dealing with criminal aliens — including sex offenders — police pursuits, and harassment of our residents by migrants moving through the area."
