Reduce Illegal Immigration at Borders

A bill to prohibit the international hindering of immigration, border, and customs controls, and for other purposes.

To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to facilitate the removal of aliens identified in the terrorist screening database, and for other purposes.

To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act with respect to the parole or release of an asylum applicant, and for other purposes.

The "Security First Act" would create a trust fund for FEMA's Operation Stonegarden, which provides funding to local law enforcement agencies to support joint efforts in securing the U.S. borders. H.R. 163 would also require a report on DHS hiring practices, designate Mexican Cartels as terrorist organizations, and call for a study on border security technology to determine needed upgrades.

The "Border Safety and Security Act of 2023" would give the Sec. of DHS the authority to suspend the entry of illegal aliens to achieve operational control of the border during a crisis or surge. Additionally, H.R. 29 requires the Secretary to stop entries if DHS cannot return them to the country they entered through (like Remain in Mexico), or detain aliens until their hearings. Finally, H.R. 29 allows states and municipalities to sue the administration for not following the required suspension mentioned above.

To prohibit certain actions that impede border security on certain Federal land, and for other purposes.

To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to establish in the Department of Homeland Security the Biometric Identification Transnational Migration Alert Program, and for other purposes.

A bill to expedite detainee transport to border patrol processing facilities.

To immediately resume construction of the border wall system along the international border between the United States and Mexico to secure the border, enforce the rule of law, and expend appropriated funds as mandated by Congress, and for other purposes.

To enact into law certain executive orders related to immigration and border security, and for other purposes.

To amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to clarify that the Secretary of Homeland Security may waive certain environmental requirements to permit U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to search for unlawful border crossing tunnels on private land to prevent the illegal entry of aliens into the United States, and for other purposes.

To ensure operational control of the southwest border, and for other purposes.

To reform the process for enforcing the immigration laws of the United States, and for other purposes.

To provide for greater transfer of risk under the National Flood Insurance Program to private capital and reinsurance markets, and for other purposes.

To direct that certain assessments with respect to toxicity of chemicals be carried out by the program offices of the Environmental Protection Agency, and for other purposes.

A bill to create a moratorium on the government use of facial recognition technology until a Commission recommends the appropriate guidelines and limitation for use of facial recognition technology.

To provide for the admission and protection of refugees, asylum seekers, and other vulnerable individuals, to provide for the processing of refugees and asylum seekers in the Western Hemisphere, and to modify certain special immigrant visa programs, and for other purposes.

A bill to improve the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations' Visa Security Program, and for other purposes.

To amend section 212(a)(3)(D) of the Immigration and Nationality Act with respect to inadmissibility based on membership in the Chinese Communist Party, and for other purposes.

To rescind the appropriation made for migration and refugee assistance in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act and redirect the funds to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

To temporarily suspend certain immigration enforcement activities during disease-related emergencies.
